Art on the wall

Art Library

The size and quality of the graphic art collection make it a prominent part of the TU/e visual art collection.

Many hundreds of works have been purchased since 1970, and new pieces are still being added each year. As a result the collection provides a good cross-section of Dutch graphic art from the second half of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Among the (international) artists whose work is represented in the collection are Lucebert, Jan Schoonhoven, Armando, Marlene Dumas, Corneille, Bert Loerakker and many others. A small selection is shown on this page, underlining the diversity of the art collection which comprises more than 900 works.

TU/e staff and doctoral candidates can loan these works for use at the TU/e Campus. To make an appointment, contact Jeanneke Grimbergen, tel. 2519, or by mail at The art library is located in the basement of the Auditorium, room -1.36: take the elevator on the street side under the bridge to Atlas (Main Building), go to -1 and walk straight ahead. The arrows on the floor will show you the way.

Please note: viewings only on appointment
